kildare crafts

    hey,
    Anyone know of any 'craft groups' in the kildare/naas/newbridge area. any type of arts ad crafts. just looking for somewhere to go to make a few friends who are like minded and have a chat over crafts!! im 25 by the way so somewhere with a few around (i use the term around loosely) my age would be great.

    the Cottonwood Tree in Kilcullen has lots of classes and groups, the library has one too and I think there is a knitting group as well

    I have attended a few craft groups, and lots of different workshops. The age thing has never been important and usually those I've met are from 20's to 80's and everyone gets on very well. However, if you are thinking of joining a craft group as a social outlet mainly, then of course I understand your need, or if you don't find anything that interests you why not start your own group?

    Hi Pobble, why not come along to the arts and crafts fair on Sunday the 28th of November in the Westgrove hotel in Clane between 12pm and 6pm? A fine collection of local artists will be dispalying their arts and crafts. A great opportunity for you to link in and see what they can make!
