    Hi

    I have an acer 3690 i was given. It had Vista installed on it. It was full of viruses and one day stopped booting all together. i just installed XP now but need all the drivers. My problem is the USB ports need drivers and so does LAN and WLAN so i actually have no way of getting the drivers onto the computer. Any ideas or is there something i need to do or havent done???

    Download the drivers from http://support.acer.com/us/en/product_support.aspx?tab=1
    Choose Notebook -> Aspire -> Aspire 3690
    Download all of the XP drivers.
    Burn them to a CD / DVD and you will be able to install them.

    The USB key was probably going to the back of a queue of devices to install so you probably had to cancel all of the other driver requests first.
