Bought a few things from them in the last 6 months -

There's a bit of hassle setting up an account initially - however once you have got through the REP123 thing - then it was fine.

Goods delivered on time and no problems with them

I have a friend that uses them quite a lot and I just get them to add the odd item I want in with their big orders. Not had any problems but packing can be a bit of a shocker sometimes, for the bigger orders they use standard size boxes which aren't always up to the job, so while nothings ever been damaged or lost thats more a plus for the couriers UPS rather than eBuyer. Delievery is quite quick normally a 4 days to occasionally a week.

    richardw001 or anyone else......
I'm trying hard to buy something from 'em, I got past the REP123 bit, but am now tripping over the paypal 'confirmed account' issue.....ie my address in ebuyer's system has a postcode of REP123 and country United Kingdom, which then gets bounced and the order cancelled because this address is not confirmed in paypal ('cos it doesnt' exist......)

the ebuyer folk say they only take UK registered cards, and orders from paypal accounts with confirmed addresses........doh......and their IT people are looking into it

anyone out there had this and solved it ?????

Change your Paypal address and your credit card address to match your REP123 address. I had to do that for several UK websales sites & it has worked.

Do you mean change the address that the credit card company sends my bills to ? that seems a bit drastic........

What if the bills can't find me anymore ? :)

I bought this for €266.00 incl delivery on one of their 'lunchtime specials deals'.

Very impressed with the TV at that price, 2 x HDMI, MPEG 4.

Ordered Friday, delivered to Kilkenny Wed morning (through some serious snow).

    *censored*
I tried to purchase some stuff from them to my sister's address over there in the UK
they chardged my card without any hassle, but few hours later they cancelled the order
i knew they would not deliver to ROI that is why I used valid Uk address, they did not complaint during checkout, but after my card was charged
i wonder how much would it take to get my money back...

    avoid them....
