Just wondering if anyone tried the above hair dye in either Light Brown 600 or Medium Brown 500 to cover highlights.

Just wondering how the colour would react over highlights (I haven't had them done in 7 weeks and they aren't too bright). I want my natural hair back - I naturally have Dark Brown hair but previously I used the Darkest Brown shade in the L'oreal Castings and it left my hair almost Black!

I don't want my hairdresser to do it because every time I used to tell her I wanted my hair a lighter brown than my natural hair it turned out almost black and I dont like the gothic look! I like how she cuts my hair though so I dont want to change hairdresser - would like to try the home dye myself.
