GF Has Latex Allergy

    Hi All,

Maybe somebody can help me out here.

My girlfriend and I have been going out for 3 months and we have only had sex once. It is most likely that this will happen again some time in the next couple of weeks. First time we did however she had a bad reaction to latex condoms, and she told me afterwards that she has an allergy and was too shy to say it in advance.

I know there are alternatives to latex condoms but I do not know where to start looking or what for, or how widely available non-latex condoms are. I would like to do the considerate thing and get some. Also are there any other specific differences between latex and non-latex condoms?

    Thanks

    R

Most boots chemists will have them.
You need to look out for polyurethane or polyisoprene condoms.
Brands include Durex Avanti Bare, LifeStyle SKYN, Trojan Supra.

It might not be the latex causing the prob, could be whatever lube or spermicide was on the condoms. so be careful even with non latex ones. hopefully you find some type that works for you
