I never buy baby wipes if they're more than a Euro a pack, on principle. Sometimes Tesco has 12 for €12 and we stock up but.. this is better!

9 packs @ £6.44 delivered = €7.60 (xe.com). This equates to 84c a pack and is based on "subscribing" to a pack of 9 every month (which, for us, is actually very handy). Amazon send the first pack of 9 to you straight away, then send you a pack a month going forward.

If you don't want to subscribe to monthly deliveries just cancel after the first delivery.

Just tried and it works out as £14.13 incl. delivery to Ireland.

Tesco currently do the 12 for €12 deal.

That's when you buy as a non-recurring purchase (a "normal" purchase - just adding to cart and checking out). You need to subscribe to monthly deliveries to get this price.

Nothing to stop you cancelling your monthly subscription after the first delivery. ;)

Amazon do free super saver deliver on orders over £25

Great spot though - I'm another nappy bulk buyer.

when you add it to your basket it should give you the option in the basket little screen on the side. it should say checkout or and then it has the buttons for how frequent you want to get it and then the subscribe button

Expired..for now. Amazon have no stock of these until 10th December, seemingly they've stopped new subs in the mean time.

OT : the midwife that did our ante-natal class advised not to use any of these products on babies skin. particularly anything that you'd find 2 for 1 etc.

You were advised by a midwife not to use Pampers Sensitive baby wipes?

We were advised the same, several times.

For a newborn use only warm water and cotton wool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,726 ✭✭✭qwertz

Yep, cotton wool or cotton pads in warm water. Everything else is too harsh for delicate baby skin.

That doesn't mean that the changing bag won't contain a small pack of baby wipes since it's more practical.

Couple of hours after childbirth and feeling a little overwhelmed, mid-wife barked at me "I wouldn't use them on my dog". Was very helpful.

Despite that, we've gone through at least 2 packs a week for 10 years. Use them for everything.

I wonder what she does use to wipe her dogs arse...

Anyway, we used wipes once the little man got to about 6 months. this kind of deal would save you a fortune. Pity there isn't a similar deal on the nappies...
