After the usual ton of research and review searching I decided a Panasonic TX-P42S20B was the right TV for me (Plasma, 42inch, Full-HD, 600Hz).

Amazon have the best price on this by far, went to click buy only to discover they still won't ship TV's to Ireland! :(

Have been looking around and Pixmania seem to have the same model, (they have it labelled TX-PF42S20B but I'm fairly sure it's the same).

I think these guys will ship to Ireland, do people reckon this is a TV for the price?

First time buyer here so would appreciate any advice :)

I was going to buy mine from pixmania before I decided to go to the Panasonic store in Limerick. It was close to me and at the time the tv was a bit more expensive on pixmania.

Several people have recommended pixmania to me in the past so if you can't find it cheaper elsewhere, I'd say go for it.

Thanks for the reply, yeah went ahead and ordered there on Monday so can't wait :)

Have seen a few of the usual "pixmania sux!" stories on the net but I think you'll get that for most things. Experience has been smooth so far with them ringing to confirm security details etc. so here's hoping the rest works out well.
