The main brands that are recommended are:

    - Prometheus
    - Madbull
    - TK Twist
    - Vanaras

It depends on how much you're willing to spend. Vanaras are the cheapest, and they are apparently pretty good, especially for the price. Prometheus are excellent, but you certainly pay for it. Madbull are also pretty damned good, and are middle of the road in cost. TK Twist are a different story; cost a lot and are only effective for single-shot (Bolt Action) or slow semi, otherwise you negate its effects. You'll pay through the roof for 'em too

Have you had this problem? I can't say I've noticed anything of the sort.

It's not a tight-bore, of course, it's wider than a normal stock barrel.

True, not a tightbore. But it serves the same end - increase consistency. I have not personally used the TK Twist barrels, so no it is not from personal experience, the information RE full auto negating the barrels effects comes from a variety of websites, some of which are Retail (Recommended use etc), some personal thoughts (Reviews) on the barrels etc.

I didn't make that clear in the initial post, which looks too...definitive. Apologies!

I bought my tightbore from ehobby and it was shipped in one of those postal tubes to avoid such problems. I don't know if that's standard policy for them but it might be worth checking out.
