As above, what's the best way to stick rice paper onto the bottom of macaroons?

The macaroons are piped directly onto the rice paper prior to baking

Rice paper was used before baking parchment was available, as they stick to whatever they are baked on it had to be something edible. So if you want to bake them on rice paper do, but if you have baking parchment they are still macaroons, just modern paperless macaroons :)
