14-11-2010 9:58pm#1We went to meet them coming off the boat this morning but it was cancelled so they were on the slow boat coming in from all directions. However we cought up with a few at Citywest and I took a few photos which i put onto a slide show.

I had opened a new thread with the Video footage as for some reason the links on this thread was not showing the Youtube link. There are 4 posted of the cars in action. Enjoy
The Standard 10 lost 2nd and 4th gears and was in need of a Mk2 or 3 Spitfire gearbox with over drive after a number of calls Luke (TCOC) had one with overdrive and then Niall and myself headed up to Lukes Monday evening it was after 10 pm by the time the box was back down in Arklow.
The Standard 10 was giving it socks the next day... Heard they worked into the wee hours in the cold.
A huge thanks to Luke for giving a LOAN of the box to them to help them finish.
Niall and I wish them all the very best of luck, and a happy and safe finish in Blackpool. Thanks for taking part of the route through Co. Wicklow, Ireland
