WHICH LAPTOP SHOULD I BUY, Acer Aspire 5741 OR Acer Aspire 5734Z

both are the same price but which is better for me to buy.i need it for watching movies, downloading music , doing afew essays and just the internet. is there really much of a difference between the laptops?

They're both probably overkill for ''watching movies, downloading music , doing afew essays and just the internet'' but hey, who doesn't like a high spec machine.

If they're both the same price though, you should definitely go for the i3.

i3 will offer about 20% better performance, better temperatures and better battery life.
The integrated GPU in the 5741 is alot better than the integrated GPU in the 5734Z. The 1st laptop will struggle with even 720p playback while the 2nd is powerful enough to play 1080p and even low end gaming.

Summary: 2nd without question!
