    Probably ITV1+1.
ITV has said this channel will start early in new year.

Yes, but I gather it will be unavailable in Northern Ireland. I doubt Capital FM will be here either.

ITV Preview 1 has already appeared in NI and it was an NI poster first to spot it over on Digital Spy. It may just be a place holder for a new channel that will be taking over the CNN/bid-tv slot as they are leaving or have left Freeview due to their contracts expiring and not renewed.

ITV1 +1 would be an absolute waste of space as would bbc one +1

Wales should have ch4 hd.E4hd should also be added and film4 hd.
It's a pity cnn is gone.
I'm liking Quest and yesterday is proving to be a much better channel too than I'd feared.

Smash hits radio is great background low volume ear fodder whilst reading a book or doing some work especially on tv's where you can mute the screen.

I find the +1 channels handy if there's two things I want to watch at the same time

But not UTV 1+1 ? Interesting. Will this be a time shifted version of UTV or ITV 1 London ?

I've just done a rescan again and Capital has indeed appeared on channel 724. In addition, we now have Heart on 728 and two Absolutes, one on 727 and another on 800 so obviously another radio station. Absolute 80s maybe ?

Did a retune on both my Sony TV and Sony analogue/digital recorder. RTE radio stations (which I like to have as they give me crystal clear sound) all have appeared in the 200's for some reason with RTE TV stations in 800's. OK for Sony TV - can reorder easily with radio stations reassigned to empty slots further down the order but not so easily with recorder - means having to put 301(which I record from time to time) at place 200 which is a bit confusing. BTW you cannot delete channels on recorder - only skip/lock so they still appear in channel sort menu. Even a manual tune puts radio stations in the 200's so problem not fixed there. Anyone any ideas? Help appreciated.

The 200's is the correct lcn position for the rte radio channels.
Your machine puts them there because it's being told to and theres nothing else there.
presumably a UK setting is whats putting the RTE tv channels in the 800's when you qalso have uk freeview channels receivable and going into 1,2,3 etc via the uk setting.

Btw,I can delete channels in the humax no bother but not the sagemcom.

Thanks for that. Have put RTE radio channels further down the channel list which has meant moving 301 to a different position than LCN 301 but I'll make do with this. BTW I've kept ROI TV channels rather than skipping them as I like to use the EPG to see what's on.

I have retuned my TV so now have the Freeview changes and the new channels for Saorview.

    01 - BBC 1
    02 - BBC 2
    03 - UTV
    04 - Channel 4
    05 - Channel 5
    06 - RTÉ ONE
    07 - RTÉ TWO
    08 - TV 3
    09 - TG 4
    10 - 3e

It took us a couple of years, but now finally I can have access to proper digital widescreen Irish channels and all the Freeview channels on one TV in one EPG. Fantastic! :D

Now if only I could get a Freeview HD recorder so I could record things from the Freeview channels that aren't on Freesat and also the Irish channels. That would be marvellous. Just a pity I'll need two STB's rather than the one HD PVR STB that could receive DSAT and DTT at the same time with full EPG's for both. If and when that is ever launched, I will sit back happy and never have to upgrade any equipment for years!

I saw a Panasonic Twin Tuner Freeview HD recorder in Currys (Sprucefield - mega new store where PC World was originally) but it was very expensive IIRC - over £500!
