Ferries to France

Hi looking for some advice/feedback from those who have used either Irish ferries or celtic link to France from Roscoff.

We are travelling next June and we have the choice of the Oscar Wilde with Irish Ferries or Norman Voyager with Celtic link.

I think that CL will probably be cheaper (prices not out yet) but would like to have a good experience of the start and end of our holiday.

Some feedback I have seen has suggested that the Norman voyager is very basic and not that clean, I would really be grateful for some feedback on the cabins and facilities on both vessels.

We would be looking at the 2* 4 berth on the Oscar wilde, we have three children but one is a baby so will either use a pop up cot or have him in one of the beds with us, the 3* has room for a cot but is almost 100 euro more!

    Many thanks in advance

A good bit of info here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055759600

To summarise, if you have kids - go on the Oscar Wilde. There is NOTHING to do with them on the Celtic Link ferry. The 2* cabins on the Oscar Wilde are very decent. They're the same standard as the 3*, but not as wide. And you'll just about have room for a pop up cot, if you didn't want to put him in a bed beside you.

Thanks for the advice, most welcome. I was leaning towards IF and just needed reassurance over the cabin. Thanks again.
