Apple stuff is pretty much the same price everywhere . You might find somewhere that knocks a fiver off it.

On the online AppleStore, you can get free shipping, free engraving and a gift box. That may or may not count as a good deal to you.

    Cheers phutyle!

Ya, thats what I was finding. Was just wondering if maybe anywhere was doing a special deal for Christmas. Do you know how long the apple store takes to deliver?

    Thanks for replying!

iPods are the same Euro price all over Europe i.e. in countries that use the Euro. The UK prices are slightly less based on current exchange rates but it wouldn't justify a trip to Newry unless you were going anyway.

Canada and the US are the places to buy if you know anyone over there who's coming home for Christmas.

For example, a 32GB iTouch costs Eur 299 here but list price in the US is USD 299 which equates to roughly Eur 229 if you include 5% sales tax, Canadian price is more or less the same.

I believe Argos and HMV are offering freebies with iPod touch purchases. Not sure on the specifics for each store, but iTunes cards and charger packs were the freebies.
