A good days hunting
Myself and my shooting buddy meet at 8 this morning and had a cup of tea and planned our route for the day,
Loaded guns ammo dogs and hit the road at 8.30,

Our first spot was a wood full of brambles where we there for about a hr and i got a shoot at a nice cock who flew high across me and fell hard to a 32g 6 .

On way out of the wood we went trough a field of rushes and had some great sport on snipe but i only managed the one after 3 shoots

Our next spot was a big farm of spuds and corn it was hard work but it payed off big time, we got two shoots each and knocked 4 cracking cocks,

We decided to try for a few teal and my dog bolted to the ditch and out came another cock, so i fired knocked him and seen about 20+ duck get off the drain at the bottom of the field i was sick but thats the way the Cookie crumbles.

The dogs were flying all day couldn't have asked any more of them my lad is flat out asleep and my friend cocker is in the vets, got a bad doing on his eye from wire poor dog.
All the birds are gone to locals who have been asking for a odd bird or two. End result.
