There have been many times where I've wanted to stick up an IDM :P or electronica track that won't fit in the other 'threads' and I may not want to use up my track of the day allocation, so fck it here's yet another youtube type thread - not likely to be overly busy granted as I don't think there is much demand around here for this but you never know, I'll be adding anyway... a fitting place for Aphex Twin, Plaid, Squarepusher to name a small few.

Two of the first records I bought over 20 yrs ago. At the time, these seemed to go down well with both the B-boy and raver crowds and are still personal favorites to this day. I suppose people might see these as precursors to trip-hop these days..

Excellent stuff, always wondered where they took the sample at the beginning of the 2nd track from, clearly some Chinese martial arts film but would like to know. I had that on this compilation actually from 1997, some great tracks on it...

Interesting stuff... this album came 2nd in Bleeps chart for 2010. Hadn't heard of it till now but liking/loving what I hear. References to Fripp & Eno, Cluster etc make absolute sense. Some amount of tension builds in this track!!!

Added to my shopping list anyway.

Very different anyway but I'm liking it and will most likely buy at some stage...
