Moving up a shoe size

    Hi All,
I'm currently a size 11 and wear a size 11 asics gt2150. I'm moving up to 11.5 because the shoe is too tight when I'm out running and I'm starting to blister quite badly. Champion are selling some runners at unreal prices at the moment as they get rid of stock but the only size they have close to mine is size 12. Is this too much of a jump? Is it worth buying a larger size than needs be just because I can pick up a bargain? Is half a size jump a lot?

    Cheers!

I think that you really need to try on shoes, especially running shoes.
Sizes can vary enormously, even from the same manufacturer.

I would normally take a size 9 but one pair of runners I have at the moment are 10.5 and they fit me perfectly.
