I realise that you typed up that post at 4 a.m. but you really should have read the headline on the article you're quoting, it was published over five years ago in February 2005 so you're starting off with stale data plus quoting a bundle of numbers they way you did doesn't exactly spark much in the way of interest.

Presumably the late hour inhibited your level of alertness because any list of the top gadgets of all time would have to have the iPhone somewhere near the top.

Could do better.
