Sick of being harrased by Travellers

i hear ya op, there is a nest of travellers down the road from our house. they do nothing but torment the community, the place is infested with them

Log everything, get witnesses, and perhaps secretly record video/audio of the harassment. Pass everything to the Gardai and they will take action. Until then, it's just your word against another's.

Important thing to remember is that these bullies are trying to make you feel bad. By allowing them to make you feel suicidal, they are winning. So **** them, and start feeling good about yourself.

If you outline the type of harrassment you're suffering, people here might be in a better position to give you advice.

I don't have any dealing with these misunderstood people but this thread is discriminative and shameful.

I remember one day a few months ago myself and 2 friends cycled up to the Bohernabreena resovoir , the day the whole "arm" of my left pedal decides to come lose when we're more than half way to the top . One of my friends was some how taught how to cycle a bike with one pedal and so we went back downhill to try get to the entrance where I'd get a lift with my bike.

About 10 minutes later (if anyones been there was near the house at the foot of the steep stone hill) we saw 3 traveller kids . One of em said to us "Here u giv us a lift yeh?" . Obviously we said no we can't . Then the 3 of them took off their shoes and start running at us and throwing their shoes at us !

Yeah , travellers are feckers alright

Well, they're a very hard working people really.

They tend to work by night.

They check everybody's back gardens, yards, sheds & the like to see what can be re-cycled.

Very public spirited (not to mention Green of them);)
