    Hi guys,
Tried connecting my ipod touch to my HD tv with a component av cable.I plugged the red, green and blue video connectors into the component video input(Y,Pb and Pr) ports on the tv by matching up the colour of the connectors to the ports.I proceeded to plug the red and white audio connectors into the left and right analog audio input ports respectively on the tv,again by matching up the colours of the audio connectors to the respective analog audio input ports. These 5 connectors on the tv make up extension 4.Here's the problem,I'm only receiving audio off the tv on extension 4 when I play a video on the ipod touch.Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Is there any settings on the ipod touch I need to change?
    Help,
    Selig:confused:

Go into Settings and Video, check the settings there. I don't know if it matters for component video but make sure that 'TV Signal' is set to PAL.

To be honest Guil I really ain't too sure.My satellite and vcr go through AV2,do not think there is anything similar for Extension 4 on mine.I am solely getting sound off it but there is a blue screen with no picture. There are 2 HDMI connectors adjacent to my Extension 4?

Are ya sure ur on the right channel cos the way ya described ya have the sound setup. It would nearly come through all av channels. To rule that out connect the iPod and play it but select another av channel
