Focus CD Player + Coins

Hey!

Does anyone know if I've any chance of removing a number of Coins from one of these Ford Stereos?

More specifically, once I remove it from the Dash can it be further disassembled and then persuaded to ca$h out!!!!

- Kids, wonderful little treasures aren't they?


In the event that the above takes an hour and ends in abject failure - I've a decent enough Sony head unit to substitute in instead - Anyone know if the below Kits work out well?

- I presume I need to buy a cage separate to the below Kit off Ebay? Do Halfords or any other Motor factor stock them as standard - guessing they are going for a fiver or so?

Ah, come on now! It must be blocking the CD slot.

My mam has a Sony headunit in place of the original ford one and has a similar surround for it. It was installed by a Ford dealer, and I think it looks a little better than the one in the link.

I dont know about the wires though, sorry.

One thing to not is that the steering wheel controls dont work with it.

Press 1 and then press eject and 1c will pop out and so on...

Ah no seriously I managed to get money back out the radio of the newer focus. I'd say thats the same, straight forward enough.

Does it come apart?

- Or was it gravity and hours of shaking?

i hapen to have a spare one sat by my PC and can tell you it looks as if the top and bottom covers come of with just two screws each. I hope it works out for you,l my ankle-biters did this when they were young too!
