    Im 18 on a provisional license, does anybody know where/how it would be the cheapest to get insurance?

    It's different for everyone, sit down with a Golden pages and ring every ins co and a good selection of brokers.

    The best company for car insurance is the one who gives you the best quote. The only way to find them is to ask them all!

    One thing I will say is avoid online quoting system as they will almost certainly not provide you with the best quote.

    thanks lads, I heard that axa is good, i'll give them a ring and a good few brokers as they're usually good.

    got a few quotes of like 3.5k and 3k with my mum as owning the car and me as a named driver, but me on my own is only 2.8k!
