Pin Hole Leak

    Hi ive got a pin hole leak in my washing mchine drain away pipe the flexy plastc pipe that takes the water out of the washine machine and you can not just unscrew it to put a new pipe on is there any tape you can use to stop the leak

    Eg would Duck tape do the job

    you would be best to buy a drain hose they cost about £5, cut your hose before the leak (w/m side) then use a jubilee clip and small piece of 22mm pipe to connect it to the new house with another jubilee clip. either that or get a w/m engineer out to replace it.

    provided the leak is does not have waste water sitting in it you will fix it very simple. I actually used a bicycle tube and glue and a jubliee clip as above although next time i would prob use silicone.

    Having said that i only done a temp fix and as suggested above i bought a new tube....

    If you go around the back of power city just tell the lads you left your washing machine in the other day and need the tube to extend the new one and you will recycle one for free.
