Good news thread?

Whew! Would people like to share some good news as a counter to all the D&G?

1) To my amazement, I got a great price for my car insurance renewal.
2) I've started running again. Okay, I'm still a complete fat bstd, but at least I'm doing something about it again.
3) I've quite a lot of beer in my fridge left over from a party and the missus is away.

C'mon, cheer yourselves up by sharing sweetness and light!

OT FUNNY JOKE:

A young man moved from his parents home into a new apartment of his own and went to the lobby to put his name on his mailbox.
While there, an attractive young lady came out of the apartment next to the mailboxes, wearing a robe.
The boy smiled at the young woman and she started a conversation with him.
As they talked, her robe slipped open, and it was obvious that she had nothing else on.
The poor kid broke into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact.
After a few minutes, she placed her hand on his arm and said, "Let's go to my apartment, I hear someone coming."

He followed her into her apartment; she closed the door and leaned against it, allowing her robe to fall off completely.

Also got results back on an assignment and it turns out I didn't destroy my brain with drink the first time I was in college. I'll give it a better try this time round.

Well, my good news is that...

I pay 300Euro a month for an apartment opposite the ocean that would cost me 1,000Euro in Dublin. I eat two filet steaks everyday for the same price as McDonalds in Ireland. Its sunny every single day of the week and I spend my mornings on the white sandy beach before jumping into my company Land Rover @ 1pm to drive around the coast to work for a television company, namely, Globo. At 4pm I leave work and drive home to where my awesome Brazilian girlfriend has cooked me my dinner and thrown on some very sexy langerie. I therefore, spend the rest of the night smoking a doobie and drinking piss cheap wine.

Well, I hope thats cheered somebody up...:D
