getting free or cheap multiroom?

    is it possible to have two sky boxes running from the one line?

    i live in an apartment complex with a shared dish.. have a broadband and phone connection in my livingroom and the connection in my bedroom is inactive..

    i was wondering if running a line straight from the living room to the bedroom would work? or would having a wireless xbox 360 connection with sky player be a better option? (and im pretty sure the multiroom feature has to be paid for and switched on in your account to do this) ..

    the reason i ask is that i need a new eircom line in my bedroom and have to pay a new line rental on top of my current package which is smart telecom . thats sounds like a pain in me arse just

    You can watch the same channel by running a cable from the RF2 out on the sky box. If you get a Tv link you can have remote control too.
