Going Grey

I've had a few grey hairs since I was 18-19.. not really an issue. But for the last 3 or 4 months the rate at which they've been appearing has increased massively.

I don't know if I'm ready for a head that's mostly grey.. Should I dye it or let time take its course naturally?

Do women find greying hair attractive? I've been told in the past that it looks distinctive.. but having 6 ears looks distinctive too so I'm not sure if it's a positive thing

Shave it all off, looks better particularly if you have the right skin complexion.

What's wrong with growing old? It's an inevitable part of life so there's not much point in fighting it. Anyway, grey hair makes you look distinguished.

Be thankful you are a guy. In the main you can wear your grey proudly. I no longer have any idea of my true hair colour as I've been dying it continually for at least the last four years.

And I'm not saying it's not acceptable for a female to show off her grey, it's just that I feel a whole lot better when mine is not on show.

Agreed - as in, it would have less of an effect on the person's confidence etc (I'd imagine so anyway).
Nice 'n easy is your friend.
Disagreed. Men dying hair - don't do it, it can look well cheesy!

I am a silver fox. I used to dye, but I said **** it and stopped. Oh well.

On the other hand though, women tend to dye their hair a lot more than men do anyway, whether they have greys or not.
I'd agree with you though - I've been getting greys since I was 17 and I'm constantly dying my hair... although I wore a silvery-grey bob wig over Halloween and it looked kinda cool. A wig like this: http://s5.thisnext.com/media/230x230/Short-Blonde-Bob-Wig_8DAAAEFD.jpg

Grey hair can look good on a man! If it makes you feel better bout yourself by colouring it though, go for it.
I'm getting a fair few strands myself, better do something bout it soon enough :(

Yeah, my beard is going quite grey. One of the reasons I stopped colouring my hair - nobody would believe that I had black hair still and a grey beard lol.

Just for Men beard dye was a step too far for me :D

Sometimes I think I've found a grey hair. But I'm pretty sure they are just a very light shade of blonde on second inspections.

That's lovely, now if grey hair looked that shiny and that tame, I'd be happy to go au naturale

Grey/white hair can look good on middle-aged women. Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada looks great with it, in my opinion.

But only grey, not "salt and pepper" - or at least a solid chunk of grey, like Anne Bancroft (aka Mrs Robinson).

My skin is pale man.. real pale. And my head is not regularly shaped, so shaving it off isn't an option.. my hair that is, shaving of my head might be an option

Oh Silvio, my fantasy. I'm far too old for him though... :pac:

Hate those fucking ads that imply the extremely unhappy man won't get a woman or a job or won't be happy til he dyes his "heinous" grey hair...

The good thing about being a man, is that whilst growing old is compulsory, growing up isn't.

My hair is more grey than dark these days, but who cares, I am still convinced I am 18.

Arguably it adds distinction etc. People with grey hair are treated with more respect etc, which is useful for business.

However, anyone with a young face and grey hair, or an old face and black/brown hair, does look somewhat out of place.

Funny, I find genuinely that when I wear my wig at work people are way more likely to pay attention to what I have to say.

I have the odd few grey strands. Been getting them since my teens. People love pointing them out to me for some reason. I don't mind grey hair on anyone, I think it can look appealling on some.

A man should never dye his hair- ever. Just accept it and get on with things. I have several grey hairs @ 33 but more noticeable are the ones in my beard.

Oh and for the record I also noticed a grey pube several months ago. I haven't looked since but I'm sure there must be more.

Very simple. Dye your hair grey, then put on some spiffy threads, scrub up nicely and go out and see if you can pull. If you get attention from ladies then what's there to worry about? Mind you if you're a hideous looking munter then it doesn't matter if you've got a thick mop of dusky tresses, are as grey as dirty snow or as bald as an egg...you're fcuked.:pac:

I tend to agree, I shave my head a few times a week, I have a little baldy patch so I reckon embracing the baldness is the way to go, I prefer my head shaved so it's happy out. However even straight after shaving I have a shadow of hair there, would not be overly keen on having a shiny, baldy head. Dunno if it's grey now or not to be honest, have no intention of letting it grow to find out either, no grew bits in the tach though :pac:
