If it is passed, there will be a new city built in Kerry, Healy-Raeville, and cities don't come cheap.

I could not support any budget that does not rip up the croke park agreement and get real about the Public Service cost to this nation
But I doubt I will be asked to vote for it

    What's the alternative?

That sounds great and all, but the reprecussions of doing it would surely be disastrous. We've all been served a big shít sandwich, and as sickening and all as it is, we're just going to have to eat it down.

Depends on what exactly is in it.

If it doesn't pass there will almost certainly be an election called. This would be the most satisfactory outcome as this crowd of asshats just can't seem to get the hint that we want them out. They have no mandate at all to be planning 4 years of severe budgets, they won't even be in office past 2012 if they even make it that far. We need a new government that has the support of the people to make decisions this big.

    Bring in the Red Army!!

Its Time for nationalism lets take this Goverment Down.

Why should i pay for their Big Cars why should i bail out the banks when they are forcing people out of their homes, why should i take Cuts while the Banks go on big Day outs and the Goverment give them selfs are Bigger Christmas bonus. dont they see they can not and while not Tax this STATE out of this Mess.. it will hurt us in the long term then the short term. how many people on this Board lost their job and still facing the fear of cuts in their welfare..

Should the budget be voted AGAINST.

Yes. Take our medicine. ( This option advocates voting AGAINST) Result General Election.

No. It's too severe. (This option advocates voting FOR the budget.) Result: Fianna F**K give us a haircut down to our bollix.

I would reckon if the budget isnt passed an election would be held. Fianna Fail would be wiped out.

The new government would be able to put together a new budget relatively quickly, given that the opposition parties already have outlined their budget proposals. Following a quick consultation with Europe, the budget would be tweaked and could be put forward fairly quickly, and would pass with relative ease.

[lies]The recovery would begin and an there would be an end to all dodgy politics and self serving politicians everywhere. And we'd all live happily ever after. [/lies]

If it's not passed then we're fcuked I'd say, the EU will come in and take over, there'll be massive cuts then.
