Former Ryanair 737 EI-DAV was rolled out at Dublin yesterday after painting by Eirtech Aviation in full Jet Airways (India) colours.

EI-DAW is due to be painted for them also.

Was wondering where those were going, thanks N7777G!

Don't suppose anyone knows who owns those 3 737s that were/are parked on the old runway there for the last few weeks with the purple and white colour scheme? In for maintenance it seems.

YR-BIC is not an ex Ryanair 737 I'm afraid!

It is a B737-8BK and was originally OY-SEM of Sterling.

However, Blue Air 737 YR-BIA which is also in storage at Shannon was with Ryanair as EI-CSJ.

They are ex-Sama, a Saudi carrier that ceased trading a few months ago. Four of their six 737s ended up at Dublin:

Would I be right in thinking that the 737 8AS is exclusive to FR? (when new from Boeing)
Just search on jetphotos.net for 737-8AS and you'll see where some of Michaels stuff ends up. Wasn't the 73 that crashed off Israel last year(?) an ex FR machine?

That is correct- each order customer has its own code.

Sorry my mistake, -bia and -bib were not -bic!

While we are on it, how long do FR keep an Aircraft for seeing as they seem to have new Aircraft arriving every other day.

    Also

On delivery flights to FR are they direct non-stop from Boeing field or do they stop off in Iceland?

I know nothing about aircraft or comercial airline industry but am interested in the selling of these planes. Do they not seem very modern and new to be sold?

I think they are sold before their first big (expensive) maintenance overhaul. Or so I was to believe.
