I don't have a hybrid in the bag at the moment - I'm thinking of getting a Cobra Baffler Rail - anyone have one? What you think of it?

    Cheers

I have an 18 degree Cobra Baffler Hybrid. Its an older version than the rail, think it's called the BTS or something like that. I find it pretty heavy compared to my other hybrid which is a 21 degree Ping G10 so id advise you to try it out first along with a few other brands. Some people might like their hybrid with a bit of weight in order to get through the rough with less risk of the clubhead turning but I didn't seem to take to it. Nice penetrating ball flight when i did catch it well but prefer the G10 which I use from the rough and just use my 5 wood off the fairway these days.

I have the 19 and 22 deg baffler hybrids and they are my "to go" clubs whenever i feel like laying up on a par 5,going for the green over water or a long par 3. Pretty much use it all the time when the yardage is right.
Really easy to use than a 3-4 irons espeically in the rough.

    :)

I didn't have a hybrid until very recently, having not gotten on well at all with a Taylor made rescue I did have for a while. However as my course (Rossmore) is going to open up some new holes next year including a new monster par 5, I decided to take the plunge and bought a Cobra TWS 22 deg, having used one of my friends on an open day on the new holes. This is last years model I think but got a good deal in the proshop, couldn't recommend highly enough. Used it at Concra Wood recently and having struggled early with the driver, used the hybrid off the tee on some of the tighter driving holes and was never too far behind my playing partners. A good solid club with a fairly compact head which I prefer to some of the Callaway, TM models.

I'm a Cobra fan - love my Driver.

Bought a baffler and have tried it on three separate occasions but never could get it working for me. However, my son "borrowed" it and loves it?

I know it's probably just me - I wont give up on it just yet!

Most of my clubs are Cobra apart from the 60deg wedge, driver and putter.

But i happen to find that my 3wood cobra is a super club, probably easier and better and further than my driver (TM R9).:)

    So thumbs up for Cobra.
