1800mAh and is the same size as your existing battery

Sounds a bit Irish and so is the price but Mugen seems to have a good reputation
£39.99 before posting from the UK

So who is going to test one out on behalf of the forum members to see if its worthwhile ;)

Whilst it's vaguely tempting... years of 'Smarphones' means that i am quite accustomed to mediocre (at best) batter performance.

    Still it IS tempting.

    Hmmm.

Well you wont be able to complain about battery life with that. Not a bad price either

According to Mugens own site, that looks like it's the Desire Z battery...

Good question Bluefoam, going to have to do a bit of copy % paste here as its all over my head

Seems the Desire HD has some lag problems and the lads @ http://forum.xda-developers.com have been working on a fix, an offshoot of the solution seems to be a dramatic improvement in battery life due to reduced drain on the cpu, see here

The 1800 mAh mugen battery isnt on the mugen site any more, just a 1300 one, which is barely over the stock battery of 1230 mAh

Were they found to be defective? Discontinued? Just out of stock for the moment?

Loads of batteries here for really cheap. Worth it?

1600mAH here for about a tenner including a plugin charger: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.45427

The cheapo one's often say they have high mAh but are usually not worth a toss, you get what you pay for, worth trying for the hell of it though sometimes since they're so cheap.

XDA members are saying the Mugen 1300mAh offers around 2-3 hours extra battery life.
