Pop singer Katarzyna Szczolek is standing, but it seems not everyone is impressed by the election posters of her in her bikini.

"Who's she trying to kid?" asked local man Tomasz Muchy. "I can just imagine how she'll go down [snigger] when turning up at a council meeting, assuming anyone knows who she is."
