I am not sure where this falls and have debated where to post it for a while now. Mods, please feel free to move it to whereever you think it should be.

For those of you who have super airtight houses with UFH where do you dry laundry? Are you resigned to using a tumble dryer all the time (given the absence of radiators)?

Radiators were never designed and, imo, should never be used to dry laundry. A laundry dryer is designed to dry clothes and transfer the moisture to the outside.

You are not resigned to using a laundry dryer if you have a mhrv system installed. A drying closet can be designed which has an mhrv extract at the top and an ambient air inlet at the bottom. The laundry will dry naturally using the ambient air flow and the moisture will be evacuated via the hrv.

If only the weather was less rainy drying should be put outside to let nature take care of it.

I'll put you outside if you drag up old threads again to post nonsense
