Mario is going to be unstopable in the next 18 months. I've never seen a player his age with such a combination of pace, ball control, power and inetlligence. The blue print for the modern striker.

That's Mario Balotelli in a nutshell

And he was just about to be taken off as well. Idiot.

It was stupid no doubt, and probably yellow card worthy, but that was never a straight red card, ref made a muck up to be fair.

What a stupid statement to make, you basing this on what you've seen today?

Seaneh watches Italian football, he'd know more about him than any of us tbf.

He's an Italian football fan so he would have a much better opinion to make this statement than you to call it stupid in all fairness.

    Wha happened

He was battling with Cech for the ball. Cech went across him so he just sort of pushed him out of the way to the ground. No need and it was second yellow worthy. Straight red was a bit much. AJ was stripped and ready to come on for him as well.

I'd say a few United fans will be happy they don't have to face him on Wednesday now.

I don't really care if he watches Italian Footy, he is playing in England now and I hate general sweeping statements after one good/bad game.

It's an opinion based on more than one game I'm sure.

Try watching him play regularly for a few seasons. The boy is a very, very special player. Now get off your high horse.

Mancini said we're going to appeal, but he was still annoyed with Balotelli for getting involved.

I guess this performance means bye bye to the City careers of Adebayor and Santa Cruz - enjoy the Jan. transfer window lads!
