Saw one on Done Deal, missed out on it. Did a lot of reading up and it has great reviews, i think it would make a great winter bike. I have tried uk and usa websites but no joy... any advice on how to get one???

You might also have a look at the Lemond Zurich.
Reynolds 853 frameset and a really good carbon fork.
One of the sweetest handling bikes, at any price.

is there any suggestions as to how i might find these bikes. I need a 60cm frame and decent frame set, well maintained, hopefully something for around 400 euro, that was the price suggested to me for something around 10 years old, that was maybe priced around 1400 or so 10 years ago, would i be right???

IMO, no. Unless they are particularly special, most bikes depreciate until they hit around €150-250, depending on condition.

The best model years of the Lemond Zurich, with the Reynolds 853 tubeset were 2001 to 2003.
These frames have a 1/ 1/8th headset. The earlier ones have a one inch headset, making spares more difficult to find.

The later than 2003 frames feature the spine concept , carbon and 853 bonded together. Wouldn't be sure about the longterm durability of these.
The last of the Lemond Zurich's were all carbon, similar to a Trek Madone.

my frame is a size 55 This has a centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat collar measurement of 58cm
So I suppose you would be looking for a size 57 or 59 Lemond zurich.

You could try some of the American websites like Craigslist Or e-bay.
There are a number of bike websites in the Uk, like Bikeradar. Some of these have a classifieds section.
    Hope this helps.

    Happy Cycling:)
