Fender Acoustic Intonation and Pickup

    Hi All,

I have 2 quick questions about my guitar. It's a Fender DG10CE, with onboard volume and tone controls and a jack fitting.

Firstly it has some intonation issues (it's sharp) it also has a compensated saddle - is this fixed by filing the current saddle or do I buy a new compensated saddle?

Secondly, I was thinking about upgrading the pickup. What pickup could I buy that will replace the current one? I'd like it hooked up to the current onboard volume and tone controls and the jack. So a fully internal/integrated setup.

    Thanks

try lowering the action if it can go lower before you spend on a new one, either sand it down a bit or give da truss rod a quarter turn to..da fishman matrix infinity is a fantastic pickup also.
