I know from experience that the Revenue are quite organised and modern.
They appear to be the only public service department with that calibre.

The sheer level of incompetence in the department of Social Welfare truly boggles my mind.
My girlfriend is currently dealing with them and .........well, they are a fcuking disgrace - there really is no other description for it.

I've seen some pretty sh1t companies in my day, but I have never seen anything resembling the sheer incompetence in the department of social welfare.

I've only worked in the private sector and there are some pretty damn sh1t employees here too at times, but such a level of incompetence simply wouldn't be tolerated by other employees.

2 members of my family are/were public servants and they are in full agreement with me that what my girlfriend is currently experiencing is just utterly inexcusable madness.

    Why is it like this?

I find it hard that these people are actually supposed to provide a service!

Why not just title the thread "me having a go at the public service" and be done with it?
