AVG 2011 won't scan

Hi, Have installed AVG 2011 free on another laptop. The software has updated itself but when i go to scan the hard drive it won't actually scan any objects. The magnifying glass just hovers over files but no files are actually scanned. I have googled and it seems others are having the same problem but have not yet found a…

Hi,

Have installed AVG 2011 free on another laptop. The software has updated itself but when i go to scan the hard drive it won't actually scan any objects. I tired turning off windows firewall and then scanning but to no avail.

Any ideas?
