Assuming you have the single person and PAYE tax credits you will not pay any tax and your take home will be €86.50.

Looks like your also in look for xmas (I Love Cheese) and the free cheese going to be given out..

No tax if you had your P45 from previous job. Even if you are taxed you can claim it back.

If you worked elsewhere prior to this employment then you will have received a P45. Hand this to your new employer and they will send it to revenue and sort out your tax credits.

If you have not worked prior to this employment then you will need to fill in a FORM 12a.

You can get this from revenue.ie and put in a search for Form 12A. When you have the personal details filled in pass it to your employer and they will fill in their details and this in turn should be forwarded to revenue. You will then be allocated tax credits.

Alternatively you can ring revenue PAYE Helpline (1890222425) and have your PPS number and your new employer registration number (you will need to ask bosses for this) and advise them over the phone that you are starting a job and would they please issue credits.

If you do end up getting taxed due to delays in any of the above do not worry as you will be entitled to tax back. It should come automatically once your tax credit certificate is issued to your new employers.
