I have a great geared bike that I would like to have changed to single speed like BMX, I ride between Swords/Dublin (No Hills), she is old but she is reliable and a good ride ;-)

Anyone out there with the skillset/knowledge on how/where can I sought this out.. on tight budget or would it just be better to sell her off and look for cheap enough single speed.

    Thanks in advance.

    B.

Do the slots where the rear wheel fits into the frame run up and down, front to back or diagonally?

Does it have multiple chain rings at the pedals or just one?

How many gears are on the back wheel?

Do you have the tools to do the work yourself?

You could try Rothar for help.
