    i am putting up yorkshire boarding style stuff where i had gale breaker... what size timber do i use and what gaps between them ?

    How high is the gap where you're putting it up? Is it very exposed?
    Ballpark is 20-25mm for the gap and 125-150 mm for the timber.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    it's in a cubicle shed gap is about 3ft in height and 2 bays long

    I remember from fado fado ago that inlet areas should be about twice the outlet area but that is mostly for space boarding inlets with protected ridge outlets. Blue5000 is on the ball there i'd say but it would depend on prevaling wind direction

    I put it up in my shed, and don't forget the timber will shrink a bit, widening the gap, id say half to three quarters of an inch.
