    Hi there,

I've recently registered a business but have not yet started trading. I received the VAT3 form to complete, and was wondering what I should do.

Do I fill in 00 for T1 and T2, sign and return? If someone can advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Fill it as nil if the business has not commenced to trade yet

If you have not commenced trading yet but have made purchases (maybe for set up equipment?) then can you claim the VAT back on this?

I very limited knowledge on VAT3 forms so apologies if it's a silly question.

Have you seen these Revenue desktop apps? You can file VAT3 from your computer and it reminds you when it's due, etc.
