Keeping Pointer in same Kennel as Springer

I currently have a springer for which I use mainly for ducks and some pheasant shooting.

however, a springer is not that suitable for pheasants for me as most of my shooting is open country so is more suited to a pointer.

I have a decent kennel currently for my springer but wondering would there be any issue if I got a pointer and housing the springer and pointer in the same kennel (assuming both are bitches). There is room for two I think??? (how big should the kennel be for two dogs?)

    advice appreciated.

I have the pointer & springer, both dogs in one run. No bother bar odd arguement but both good characters. I have 2 houses in there side by side & they're gas as they like their privacy. Once cold snap hits they'll be in the 1 box!!

As for space. I find this irrelevant as they sleep all day & should be exercised as much as possible also! Once you put a concrete base & clean daily no trouble.

2 bitches in the one pen/kennel are fine, the dogs themselves will work out whose boss. You may encounter an odd scuffle now and again, bitches tend to have afew scraps depending on the personality of each dog, males work out quicker who is the alpha male and rarely challenge the other, bitches can scrap quite a bit but it is never too serious! But watch them when their in heat if theres a male around cause thats when it can get serious between them!
