I wouldn't buy them despite the fact that they are indeed very cheap. The reason is that you can buy those exact dongles in many of the famous 2€-stores for said price. Chances are the first or second or even third of them will not work, so buying locally is not only faster (by weeks) but it also ensures quick exchange of faulty items. I know that because I bought one faulty yesterday, the second one from twenty minutes later works :)

Not sure if it will work for this one but you might be able to find compatible Dell drivers/software from their site. The one that worked for my dongle was "DELL_WIRELESS-365-BLUETOOTH-_A00_R253452" which added better support for Win 7 with some extra features.

    and its still sitting here.

Can anyone else confirm this doesn't work?

Many of them will actually work. But at just over 1 Euro including postage from southeast asia you can figure out how much effort they can put into the quality control of any of these. On other sites you find reviews like this: http://www.dealextreme.com/forums/Default.dx/sku.11866~threadid.732295

So if you take the chance you may well be lucky. But if not you wasted time and money. That was the reason for my suggestion to visit your local 2€-store first. You will find the same level of quality there at a slightly(!) higher price, but if things go wrong and you have to return the dongle you are better of than simply having to bin it...
