Which is a Matra really ...same as the (original) Renault Espace


It got its Talbot badge because it used to be a Matra-Simca ...and Simca then got swalled by Chrysler, dumped into Talbot and then was left to die.

There seems to be a fair degree of truth in that rumour alright - Renault have Dacia and we get them in Ireland in 2012 and the word is that Talbot will be Peugeot's cut-price brand for emerging markets.

They also produced this wonderful car - the Lotus Sunbeam - it had a 150hp 2.2-litre Lotus engine in a small hatchback shape. Wonderful.
