I work in a store where we are being watched/listened to constantly on camera apparently we are not performing as a store we lack a manager or guidance from anyone above us so this does not help. But recently one of my fellow employees wanted to hand in her notice but was discouraged to do so by our area manager who in turn told her to hold on another month, but also said to her the owner wanted to get rid of all staff from the store.I really am nervous about losing my job now, they surely cant fire any of us with no grounds? We all work to the best of our ability but nothing ever seems to be enough. The company seems to change rules etc to suit so if they did want rid of anyone or all they would just relocate you to a store as far away as possible so you would either have no means of transport or it would just not pay you to go.Any advice please?
