I hate it when people misuse (sic) to indicate they misspelled, rather than when quoting someone who misspelled or had incorrect pronunciation.

Know who to use it, or JUST DON'T USE IT!!!!!

I never heard of the use of sic until I started reading wikipedia, I wondered what the hell was it all about every time I saw it. Then I thought it may be indicating that the information on Wiki/Wikipedia maybe something somebody said or still needed to be proved or backed up by facts.

Today I find a thread on boards AH relating to sic and I google it just to find out what the hell it actually means and
the first google result is bloody wikipedia Grrrr

Gave a quick look through the entry and after quickly
looking up and down the page decided to give up trying
to read and go Feck it! I'm better off not knowing
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sic

And the omission of the question mark and capital letter? Intentional again?

    You're good.

    Wow, well done op.

An awesome amount of grammar and spelling mistakes in one post complaining about people's grammatical errors.

It's like those people who come on here to tell people that they have poor grammar but spell it as grammer.

If my post has any errors in it, it's cos I don't give a crap ;)
