I didn't mate, but prices are supposed to be similar to the last couple of weeks. What kinda money would a springer with BB at foot make approx? The old fella doesn;t want to chance BB on our cows but if I'd like to give it a go and see what the outcome is. They make serious money and if a lad could find a suitable stock bull or easy calvin AI, it's definitely the way to go.

A pedigree Limousin, top price on last Monday was for an in calf cow at €3400. That was a herd reduction sale for the Glebe herd. A special sale of pre selected in calf heifers and breeding heifers (multi breed) next Monday in Tuam. Will be interesting to see what prices they wil go

the 3400 euro cow had a day old heifer calf at foot and was an exceptional quality pedigree cow with very good breeding behind her. id say whoever bought her knew what her value was. the prices for the incalf pedigree cows varied depending on what they were bred from and what they were incalf to.
