I have quite a few of these homework questions as we're studying sets at the moment. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to show me how to go about this one to give me an idea as to how to go about them? Thank you :) Let A, B and C be sets. Prove that (A u B) n C = (A n C) u (B n C)

The first two or three solved problems in this will give you an idea of what to do.

Edit: Maybe drawing a picture of sets would help first, before you read it, i.e. draw a picture and write EVERY SINGLE relationship possible, then play around with it. Afterwards read the solution, I admit I needed to read it but once I did I realised it makes sense to just write it all out and then think about what the relationships mean when thought about together.
