New (to me!) iPhone 3G Help?

    Hi all,
    I bought a second hand iPhone 3G 16g off adverts today, the guy I bought it off was very nice, but hadn't cleared the iphone of photos/apps/contacts. It's unlocked and jailbroken, is there any way to remove these without removing the jailbrake or unlock?

    Go into SETTINGS- GENERAL - RESET - ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS.
    That does the job!

    dont do that, ya will need to connect to itunes after doing that

    the jailbreak and everything else will be gone off it and ya will more than likely have to update to 4.1
    if it isnt factory unlocked it could become an expensive ipod

    Still seems to working, with my o2 sim anyway, just synced it to iTunes, don't think it was actually jailbroken, didn't see that icon everyone on here seems to be talking about, starts with C

    ah good, no need for unlock so, cydia has a brown icon for it aswell
