Motor Tax - page down

    Hi All

    I can't find phone number for tax office anywhere - can any of You help ?

    I paid tax for my car today but page went down just after I put all my details and card details. Now I can see that money was taken from my account but I have no confirmation that I paid !

    D U think if I call them they might gave me some reference number I can show to Gardai just in case ?

    Hi somebody_else, i had the same problem yesterday. Their website was down on Saturday and then yesterday i did it twice but like you got kicked out with no confirmation after putting my details in! Problem is i cant see from my online banking yet if payment was taken, and possibly twice!

    The phone no is 1890411412, however i rang this morning and held for 25 mins, and am now currently holding for the last 40 mins.... :mad:

    Well finally got thru after 50 mins of holding! Told me they have been having problems all weekend. Anyway they told me that my payment didnt go thru?? However im not so sure if you got to the same stage as me and payment has been taken. Of course he then decided to lecture me that i should be paying it earlier, not to leave it til the last minute and that no garda is going to buy that the system was down if im stopped etc.....
